What does client-care mean to us?

First and foremost it is not a 'blank screen':
Client care to us means 'healing' rather than something known generally today as 'counselling'.  Healing is different.  It is  flexible, creative,  conversational, and based on a mutual endeavour.  The 'blank screen' of much that underpins counselling and analysis today is not part of our model.  This open approach reflects the way in which Professor Jung  himself worked with clients.

What actually is different about this?
In this model, everything begins and ends with the client's own story. This, together with healing and dreamwork, is the heart of the work, integrating the pastoral, spiritual
and clinical traditions.

Therefore, Practitioners trained in our model develop an integrated approach to  healing and client care including:

*  Empathy and listening
*  Creative dreamwork
*  Healing and spiritual approaches
*  Understanding human development
           and family dynamics
*  Guidance of the Higher Self/Soul.
*  Self-help approaches (tapes/books etc.)

Presenting issues:

Clients come to us for many reasons; not only in periods of crisis or change, but  also in times of personal development.

Over the years, our  approach  has therefore proved helpful to a wide range of presenting issues including:

*     Personal and spiritual development
*     Family and relationship issues
*     Career change
*     Life changes
*     Bereavement and loss
*     Clinical and reactive depression,
             including post-natal
*     Management of manic depression
*     Recovery from illness, including
            cancer, ME, post-operative.
*     Healing for the past.
